Taste of Sobe at Icon | Miami Art Basel kick-off

Hasel B Designs Icon South Beach 1 As Miami Beach prepared to welcome it’s 12th installment of Art Basel week, We had the privilege to work with the Icon South Beach condominium in launching its first ‘Taste of Sobe’ event! This event was also the perfect opportunity to kick-off  ALL the wonderfully-made-artsy-madness that was to unfold on the following days.

The bash featured exquisite cuisine amidst some of the most notable glitterati in all of Miami. This gorgeous evening was eager to please even the most exigent of palates by featuring the likes of Cavalli, Texas De Brazil, Milo’s, Sienna Tavern, La Gloutonnerie, Barcelonetta, Porfirios, 1826 Restaurant & Lounge, Rodriguez de Cuba and IlMulino. A Couple Goes “Over The Edge!”

Melissa and Chris, a belle from Jersey and a gent from Brooklyn, decided to embake on a new chapter in their life by rappelling down the side of JW Marriott Marquis on, September 5, 2014. Before the couple said “I do”, dozens of others rappelled down the building, including Emmy Award-winner Joe Morton from the TV show “Scandal.”

This is the third annual rappelling fundraiser that benefits Miami Children Initiative, an nonprofit organization focused on breaking the cycle of poverty in Liberty City.
